Dear Bus #6 Parent (Deb Salo’s bus), As you may know, we struggle to find substitute bus drivers. Deb will be out of town on Monday, 12/4 and Tuesday, 12/5. Unfortunately, we are going to have to ask you to make arrangements to pick up your child and drop them off. I apologize for the inconvenience and understand that you might have to drop your child off earlier than the school doors opening at 7:55. If you need to bring your child earlier, please let me know and I will make sure we have staff available. Thank you for your understanding. Parent teacher conferences are scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday, November 9th) from 1-5 and 6-8. Elementary conferences have been prescheduled, middle and high school conferences are drop in. Any incoming 6th – 8th grade student interested in running cross country this fall, there will be an interest meeting on Monday, August 14th at 6:30 in the Elementary Gym.

Good Afternoon Cougars! Superior Central School District is seeking applications for a current vacant position on the board of education. An individual will be appointed to fill the vacant position through Dec. 31, 2024. Interested persons must submit a letter expressing interest in the board position and their qualifications for the position to the district office no later than 3:00 p.m. on August 17, 2023. Following a review of the submitted materials, the board will schedule interviews with selected candidates. Not all candidates for the board vacancy will be interviewed. Good Afternoon Cougars! Parents of girls entering 6th-8th Grade, there will be an informational basketball meeting on Tuesday, August 15th at 6:00 in the Library. Unfortunately, we do not have enough participants to field a middle school football team this fall. Coach Trader still plans on working with middle school students to prepare them for high school. We hope to have the numbers for a middle school team next fall.

Good Morning Cougars! Fall sports are quickly approaching! High school sports begin on Monday, August 7th. Student athletes need to have a current physical on file at the school to participate in practice. Student athletes must also attend practice within the 1st three practices to be on the roster.
