High School Softball today is at home vs. Rapid River starting at 4:00
Middle School open gym tomorrow is cancelled.
High School Baseball and Softball are both canceled today (April 27th) due to weather.
Bus #3 (Buck/Aidan) will be running about 10 minutes late this morning. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Charter's fiber coming into the school is currently down. This means our phone and internet are currently down at school. Charter technicians are in the area trying to find the problem.

I want to send out an update on the alleged threat that occurred on late Tuesday night. A student make a comment that was reported to the Michigan State Police. The police immediately began investigating. I understand the concerns of the community. Please know that student/staff safety is our number one concern and that all threats are taken seriously.

Late last night I was informed by the Michigan State Police of an alleged threat against the school. MSP has been in contact with all parties and is investigating the situation. All threats will be taken seriously, investigated, and prosecuted if necessary. MSP is onsite this morning. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

I know this probably doesn't come as a surprise, but the Spring sport season isn't going as scheduled. The softball game scheduled for tomorrow at Bark River has been rescheduled to May 5th and the April 11th game vs. Rapid River has been rescheduled for April 28th. Baseball at Stephenson tomorrow is also not happening. Mr. Bagley is working on make-up dates for baseball as well. We'll keep you posted throughout the spring. Go Cougars!

We are happy to announce that in addition to our Elementary after school tutoring, we are now offering Middle and High School tutoring. Middle and High School tutoring is available Monday through Thursday from after school until 4:15. Both Mrs. McDonnald and Mrs. Hancock will be available during this time in their classrooms. Bus 44 (Aidan's bus) will be running 20-30 minutes late this morning.

Our high school band got out of their Festival performance late. They will be arriving back at school at around 3:35. They will need to be picked up at the school. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey SC Elementary! Tomorrow is March, which means it's time for One School, One Book! Tomorrow we will reveal what this year's book is! Here's a hint, tomorrow (March 1st) is our first dress up day and you should wear CAMO if you can. Parents, check your student's backpack tomorrow for the book and the monthly reading schedule!
